TIMES HAJI, JAKARTA – The last group of Indonesian pilgrims from Mecca has been departed to Medina on Thursday (4/8/2022). They were coming from group 43 of Solo (SOC 43). On the occasion, the Director of Hajj Service of Kemenag RI Saiful Mujab happened to walk the group to their bus.

"It marks the end of hajj routine in Mecca. And we now focus to serve the pilgrims in Medina," Saiful Mujab said on statement on Friday (5/8/2022).

Mujab said that the officials in Medina will focus on bringing all the pilgrims back home to Indonesia. They planned to finish this their homecoming by August 13, 2022.

Meanwhile, for those officials who were left behind in Mecca will do some last minute checking before they left the city. They will make sure that there was no one left in the sacred city just to assure their safety.

Saiful also appreciated the service given by all the officials in Mecca. According to him, they have done such a good work during the first 60 days of hajj in Saudi Arabia. "There were some small issues, but it could be handle easily," he added.

"I believe everyone was working with their heart and soul,"  the Director of Hajj Service of Kemenag RI Saiful Mujab ended. (*)
